We've been thinking long and hard about our flagship Northern California brewery bus tour and after almost a year and a half running this tour, we've gathered a good amount of feedback to make this tour even better for 2012. Like all of our tours, we're still going to be keeping this tour all-inclusive: round-trip transportation, two specialized tour guides to give you the individualized attention you need, beer samples at all breweries (plus a private behind-the-scenes tour), a gourmet lunch, entertainment on the bus with fun beer trivia, and a handy souvenir.
So what's changing, you ask? We've decided to cut the tour down from the original 7 hours to 5 hours. We've found many people can't invest in 7 hours of drinking and 6 hours is something many could do easily and not get ridiculously smashed :) So...with that 6 hour tour change, we're also going to be visiting two breweries (instead of the original 3): Bear Republic Brewery in Healdsburg and Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma. These are both amazing craft breweries and everyone who's been on our tour absolutely loves them! We'll be having beer samples at Bear Republic and a behind-the-scenes tour, lunch, and samples at Lagunitas.
But that's not the only change...although our buses have been very comfy, they don't really match our laid back and fun vibe as much as we'd like them to. So we've collaborated with a special bus, called the Teacher Bus. In one word, it's AMAZING. The inside is arranged so people can mingle and yes..they even have a dance floor if you're feeling like pulling an Elaine (any Seinfeld fans? :) ). Plus, they run completely on biodiesel and solar power..so when you're drinking craft beer you'll also not be impacting the environment..cool eh?
